Elegant Pools was found by D.J. Hughes in 1975.  Eventually, the company was passed on to his son Joe Hughes who has transformed it into the business it has become today.  Elegant Pools takes pride in the fact that it has stayed a successful, family-owned and operated business. Since its inception, Elegant Pools has built over 500 pools in Johnson County, IN and it's surrounding counties.  Our company also builds other structures such as summer kitchens, retaining walls, pole barns, pool storage areas, and outdoor bars.  Over the past 40 years, we have primarily operated by word of mouth and have allowed our quality craftsmanship to do our advertising.  Ask around about our work, you will be glad you did.
